The cross-cultural communication (also named trans-culture human relations) refers to the communication between the native language and the non-native language, and also refers to any social intercourse among people who use different languages and are under different cultural backgrounds. Because different nationalities are in different environments of ecology, material, and social religion and so on, the respective languages have different linguistic environmental factors which lead to different language habits, social cultures and customs. When communication is going on, people are always used to following the way of their own speech to explain the opposite party’s words, and this possibly makes an inaccurate deduction from the other party’s words. Thus conflict or contradiction between the both parties may occur. Therefore, as an English teacher, he or she not only need to teach students grammar, but also must pay great attention to cultural differences.
