Abstract: Game method is applied to different subjects in primary schools, and the same is true of English classroom teaching. This study aims to investigate the status of the game method in primary school English vocabulary teaching and then find the solutions to the problems in the use of it. Compared with different current methods of teaching vocabulary, game method appears to have a lot of advantages. The results show that although game method has been widely used in most parts in our country, there are still some shortcomings and drawbacks. The paper concludes that with the help of game method, it will be interesting and easy for primary school students to learn English vocabulary.

摘要：游戏教学法在小学各类学科中都得到了运用，英语课堂中也不例外。这个课题意在研究游戏法在小学英语词汇教学中的应用现状以及找到其问题的解决方法。笔者通过对当今存在的几种词汇教学方法的对比发现游戏法有其突出的优越性。研究结果表明，虽然游戏法已经被广泛应用于我国大部分地区，但是还有一些不足和困难存在。本文得出以下结论：在游戏法的辅助下，学习英语词汇对小学生们来说将会是既有趣又容易的事。
