Abstract: The Communicative Approach (CA) claims that language is acquired through communication. It stresses the importance of communicative competence. This thesis is designed to analyze the current situation of College English vocabulary teaching and introduce the application of CA in College English vocabulary teaching. The purpose is to give some suggestions on improving the process of English vocabulary teaching and learning so as to develop college students' communicative competence.

摘要：交际法强调语言学习必须通过运用语言交际的过程，重视语言应用能力的培养。本文拟通过对大学生英语词汇教学现状的分析，提出将交际法运用于英语词汇教学，从而提高英语词汇的教学效果和大学生英语交流水平。
