Abstract:The film Coraline is adapted from Neil Gaiman's novel of the same name. The subjective animated color of Surrealism depicts the audience a completely different world of reality and illusion. The movie Coraline borrows a fantasy adventure from a curious girl. It is not only about the family problems of reality, but also the deeper level of the truth that life is always not perfect. Love is the core element of this movie. This article is based on Coraline's inner growth process, and analyzes love and self-salvation from family, friendship, and neighborhood relationships. The purpose is to discover the true inner needs and the unique charm of life. What this film expresses is from the child's growing needs to discovering the real needs of the heart. Learning to love is our salvation to us. The various horror elements presented in the movie are not terrifying to adults. However, the greed and weak nature of the film and the growth that everyone will experience in life are impressive.
