

Abstract:This paper mainly explores the similarities and differences between Chinese and Western heroism. There is a hero in every nation and every culture. Heroism has a special social representation in its specific national culture, and to a certain extent has a subtle influence on the development of society. Film is not only a medium to entertain people's daily lives, but also a way to spread different cultures in the world. Based on Hero and King Arthur, this thesis finds that there are mainly three differences between Chinese and Western heroism: 1.Different definitions 2.Different manifestation 3.Different cultural origins.
