Abstract:Flipped is a film that reflects growth, education, human nature and cognition. The film tells a series of problems that children may encounter during their growth: how to pursue their dreams, how to look at poverty, how to receive the disabled family, and how to maintain their own self-esteem. The completely individual personality of the hero and heroine in the film is the product of their different family education.
This paper first explains the root causes for the influence of a person’s personality, and then analyzes the diverse family education methods of the two families in the film. Through the comparison of Bryce’s family education, the author mainly analyzes the flash points in Julie’s family education; secondly, summarizes the way of Julie’s father’s cultivation methods on the values of her daughter, the way to deal with the problem of puppy love, and compare with Chinese families’ solving ways when they face the same problems. Finally, the paper summarizes the issues that family education should focus on. The purpose of the paper is to give the enlightenment that there is no inevitable connection between the rich and the poor of the parental education. Love and mentality is the key to the success or failure of family education.
