Abstract: China and the United States are two countries with quite different histories, philosophies, values and political systems. Because of these differences, the two countries have two totally different systems. The most notable fundamental difference lies in the relationships of these two media with their respective governments. The Chinese media system is often an inseparable part of the government while the U.S.’ media system is relatively. In fact, some media in the US is also affected by the government in some aspects. Therefore, I don’t advise you to use the wording as American media is totally free from the supervision of the government. Privately owned. This makes them almost two different things, like an apple and an orange. In most of this case, one cannot use one as the standard to criticize the other and vice versa. The following paper is going to talk about the language differences among Chinese medium and foreign medium in order to give a better understandings to the readers and promote the media industries.
