Abstract:Tang,xianzu, a Chinese opera singer of Ming dynasty, famous works is Peony Pavilion. Shakespeare, the European Renaissance dramatist, famous woks is Romeo and Juliet. Both of classics love works. The article compares the linguistic features of Tang Xianzu's Peony Pavilion with Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, the different backgrounds of the two countries at the time, different ways of love and love, and then the Peony Pavilion and The Peony Pavilion The main difference between the linguistic features of Romeo and Juliet is that the former language is holistic, while the latter is partial. The main reason for this difference is that there are great differences between Chinese and Western cultures. Therefore, this difference makes us further want to understand the difference between Chinese and Western dramas and the differences between Chinese and Western views of love, thus enhancing the deeper understanding of the two cultures and the understanding of the dramas of the two countries.
