ABSTRACT:With the development of economic globalization, China’s foreign trade becomes more and more mature. The translation of foreign trade correspondence plays a very important role in the foreign trade activities. In this paper, the author makes a comparative analysis on some examples concerning the translation of foreign trade correspondence from the perspective of cooperative principles. The author proves that the theory of cooperative principles and the features of the foreign trade correspondences is compatible and it is suitable to use the cooperative principles to guide the translation of the foreign trade correspondences.
