Abstract: Racial discrimination has been a big problem existing in American society from the founding of the nation. American racial discrimination usually refers to the white's discrimination to American minority people, especially to the black. Actually, the black has been fighting for their rights for a long time. And although it seems to be better with the development of civil sights movement, racial discrimination still exists in America. This thesis firstly expounds the background, definition, roots, and development of racial discrimination. Then, it analyzes reflections of racial discrimination in economy, politics, and employment in American society through the film CRASH.

摘要:从建国到现在，种族歧视问题一直是困扰美国社会的一个大问题。我们经常说的美国种族歧视是指美国白人对少数族裔人的歧视。特别是美国白人对美国黑人的歧视和不公正。虽然黑人种族不断做着抗争，并且随着民权运动的发展，一些状况在慢慢地改善，但种族歧视问题依然存在于美国社会的各个角落。本文首先阐述种族问题的背景，种族歧视的定义，种族歧视的根源以及发展的一些情况，然后简述反映种族歧视的电影《撞车》，结合《撞车》所体现的社会现实，主要分析种族歧视在经济，政治，和就业方面的体现,更全面，更深刻的揭示种族歧视在美国现代社会的状况。
