【摘要】戴厚英是当代文坛上一位真诚的，有强烈社会责任感的作家，她的作品即是自我表现，又体现了知识分子的独立思考和人文情怀。《诗人之死》是作家真诚的，深刻的反思人性的结果，作品从知识分子的处境与命运切入，通过他们在痛苦中的挣扎，展示了作者对知识分子独具特色的审视。戴厚英用形象告诉人们，知识分子们人格的异化不仅仅是因为外界政治环境的压迫，更关乎知识分子们自身操守的坚持。

【Abstract】：DaiHouying is a contem porary writer who is sincere and has a great sense of social responsibility.Her works are about self-revelation and the independent contemplation and the hun an istic care of intel lectuals.The Death of A Poet ,are the results of her sincere introspection and contem plation of hum an nature.The image of intellectuals portrayed by DaiHouying disclose that the change of intellectuals are not only due to the change in the external world but also due to their characters.
