摘要：钱理群的现代文学研究善于从作家个案出发，探究文学史的发展轨迹，他研究鲁迅，阐释了他复杂的精神世界；他理性的勾勒出了周作人跌宕起伏的人生和复杂隐秘的灵魂以及作为一个自由主义精神拥护者的悲剧命运，通过分析他周氏兄弟的研究，解读钱理群在文学史研究过程中的方法与思想。
通过个案研究，以文学史、思想史视角为主体，又夹杂以政治史、社会史、文化史等各个角度，讲述了“二十世纪知识分子精神历程的故事”，钱理群的文学研究极具特色，他善于采用心灵的对话，单位意象，单位观念等个性研究方法来对作家个案进行分析把握。

Abstract：Qian Liqun's study of modern Chinese literature from the case of good writers, explore the development contrail of literary history, he studied Lu Xun, explains his complicated spiritual world; he rational outlines Zhou Zuoren the ups and downs of life and the complexity of the secret soul as well as a free spirit advocates tragedy destiny, through the analysis of his brothers research, interpretation of Qian Liqun in the history of literature in the process of research methods and ideas.
Through a case study, according to literature history view, history of thought as the main body, and mixed with political history, social history, cultural history of various angles, tells the story of the" Twentieth Century intellectual spirit journey", Qian Liqun's literary research is highly characteristic, he is good at using the soul of the dialogue, image, idea of personality research method unit the writer holds case analysis.
