摘要：自西部大开发战略实施以来，西部地区经济发展成绩十分显著，但其仍是中国经济发展的薄弱环节。随着经济的不断发展和对外开放的不断深化，西部地区需要更多资金和技术方面的支持，但是由于西部薄弱的经济基础、不合理的产业结构分布以及恶劣的区位环境等因素，导致了长期以来西部地区引进利用外资的情况不容乐观。本文将对西部地区引进外资的现状、主要特征以及存在的问题做出研究，并对西部地区利用外商直接投资的方式做出探讨，分析总结西部引资的有利条件和不利条件，再针对西部现在引资存在的问题和问题产生原因提出可行性建议和策略，加大其引进外资力度并提高利用外资的质量，以达到正确且恰当的借助外资的流入不断发展促进西部地区经济水平的目的。

ABSTRACT：Since the implementation of the western development strategy, the western region's economic development achievement is very significant, but it is still the weak link in China's economic development. With the continuous economic development and opening up of the continuous deepening of the western region needs more financial and technical support, but due to the weak economic foundation western, irrational industrial structure, regional distribution, and harsh environmental factors, leading to a long-term the western region since the introduction of the use of foreign capital is not optimistic. This article will introduce the western region the status of foreign capital, the main characteristics and problems to make a study and utilization of foreign direct investment in the western region to make way discussion, analyze and summarize the western attract investment favorable and unfavorable conditions, and then attract investment for the west now the problems and causes of the problem feasible suggestions and strategies to increase its efforts to attract foreign investment and improve the quality of using foreign capital, in order to achieve the correct and appropriate means of inflow of foreign capital to promote the continuous development of the western region's economic level purposes.
