摘要：本文主要研究内容是南通港口竞争力情况和提升策略。通过分析南通港的发展现状、优势及不足，以及与其他港口的竞争态势，寻找影响港口竞争的主要因素：港口自然条件与基础设施、港口外部条件、经营管理能力、港口发展潜力。寻求提升南通港口竞争力的途径。

Abstract: The present thesis aims at improving strategies of the competitiveness of Nantong port.  It is of great significance to analyze the current situation , advantages and disadvantages of Nantong port., as well as its competitive situation compared with other ports and to investigate the main factors influencing the port competitiveness so as to explore the means of promoting the comprehensive competitiveness of Nantong port.

　　本文中的港口竞争力定义：港口凭借其港口资源，通过改善基础设施、提高服务水平、加强管理等，吸引各种生产要素和有利于港口发展的稀缺性资源，并对资源进行优化配置，在占有市场、创造价值和维持可持续发展能力方面相对于其他港口所具有的比较优势。

　　根据港口发展内外部环境的特点，港口竞争力受到港口地理位置、自然条件、基础设施、政策环境、通关环境、腹地综合运输发达程度、腹地和所在城市的经济实力、集疏运系统发达程度、运营条件、潜在的发展机遇和挑战、港口收费、管理水平和服务水平等要素水平的影响。
